van helsing is a very good ARPG with some decent tower defense mechanics/sub games. I get burned out with those fast, though, so I never really finished it. Same thing happened with Grim Dawn. I used to play these games like crazy, but I guess I just get tired of these maps and blasting mobs over and over again. Still, it's a cool game if you are into the genre.

I didn't play SOMA for long because I think the story was gratuitous. Having some power wire hooked up to a person for no reason other than to make you remove it and kill them to progress, I didn't care to play.

lots of games are not enjoyable if you try to make sense of them... so I suggest not doing so with SOMA and play it when you can. good stuff.
