Going Nuts with PNY

I have a PNY video card that died .... again. I called their tech support number 1-800-234-4597 only to play a long, gueling number punching game with a talking computer that got nowhere. Not being able to reach an RMA department, or a live technician, I called back and didn't press any numbers (acting like I was on a rotary phone). I was able to reach a voice mail this way, but nobody has responded to my first message. So, I left another one, and another one. Two and a half weeks later, still no response. I tried e-mailing them, but I couldn't find an e-mail on their website, not even to their sales department!

Anyway, I'm about to give up, but does anyone know how to reach PNY?!? BTW, I work during the day so I can't spend an hour on the phone waiting for them to respond.

Also, I know whats wrong, the video BIOS is corrupt. I can't tell you how many PNY video cards have gone bad this way. It's a simple fix, will probably take them 30 seconds.

ugh, I just got a 5900SE PNY card. So youve had many problems with them?

As far as video BIOS going bad, alot. Then you spend 2 weeks without a video card because they don't have advanced RMA.
They are decent cards, if only they had stable video BIOS. And I know it's not my computer because I've used PNY cards on 5 different computers all using ASUS, MSI, DFI, and Biostar mobos, and Zalman, Sparkle, Fortron PSU's.

PNY non-Quadro = hair pulling. I never ot one, not seeing a point (they offer nothing special).
Now I have a 4-count of messed up video cards in other people's PCs. That's personal or over-the-phone tech support from me, not all the problems popping up in places like this.
That's 4 POS video cards, all PNY. I just can't imagine it is coincedence. Never had or even heard of, any ohers just screwing up and/or dying of their own accord.

exactly... I was saying how much PNY sucked in the video forums, and I got bashed by ol' rollo there.
BTW Asus makes PNY cards, so I'd stay away from asus too

I think this is my 6th RMA with PNY (including helping my immediate family members). After two weeks of messages, I got ahold of them. Now they just told me if I don't have the receipt, I can't get it fixed, they will send the card back to me unrepaired. Ugh, this is some lifetime warranty. The tech support guy I'm e-mailing is very nice, he's using his personal e-mail to talk to me. On the other hand, try e-mailing PNY_TECH_SUPPORT@pny.com. They sent me an RMA from this e-mail, but it bounces when I reply. My tech guy is nice enough, but their policies suck!!!!!

Who is ol'rollo?

Asus makes PNY????? I thought Asus was a top notch mobo and video card maker? Either way, I've had to do an RMA with Asus before, but their tech support is way easier to get ahold of. Their policies are way more relaxed, and they offer advanced RMA, so I'm not afraid to purchase from them. My experience with asus has been an overall good experience. PNY has been a nightmare.

Still, if you don't recommend asus, who do you recommend for cards and mobo's? :disgust:

PC Chips makes Abit boards, too.
It's all about QC.

Wow, recently I just had my PNY GeForce4 Ti4200's go bad (the caps. started to expand) called
the 800 # got an RMA sent it in and got a replacement card. Other then the fact that the new card
did 8X AGP and my SIS chipped MB didn't like it. Now have an Intel Chipped MB that plays nice with it. I had
no trouble with the PNY warrenty.
