Those idiots at Cablevision have sold the newly remodled stores (that remained open after the last liquidation) to a liquidator.

all wiz stores are closing in june, went to the one nearest me not too long ago, selection was terrible and the prices were all list price. they had a hp 5550 printer for $299.99, wow, some deal

well not all wiz's are closing i was down at this in northern nj and its not closing (well at least 3 weeks ago when i went it wasn't)

They are all closing unless Cablevision can find a buyer to come through at the last minute and purchase a franchise that was never really profitable... PC Richard was rumored to be interested but nothing has been said in recent weeks. I think I remember hearing of an early spring closing for all stores.

All Wiz stores are closing, the chain has been turned over to a liquidation company, and will be closed before June. The sale is already underway.

PC Richards has been quoted in newspapers as saying that they have zero interest in buying the chain, but will gladly pick over the carcasses when the time is right--there are a few locations they would like to take over.

The Wiz in my area was closed a few month before the bestbuy in my area opened. (they are like 10mins less apart)
