And if I bring beer, that I might have one bottle, how many bottles is acceptable as a nice gesture but nothing special as this is not a party, just a little dinner with a few others invited, thanks guys

Depends on the beer.

If it's in the can then a 12 pack but halfway decent stuff would work for a 6 pack I would say.

I agree. Either a bottle of wine or a six pack of bottles is fine.

Sounds fine as long as it's not like the Heineken commercial and you only take over a 5 pack. :laugh:

what do you normally bring to a dinner? Sushi should be no different. A bottle of wine is fine.

Sam Adams claims their Hefeweizen goes great with sushi. I highly recommend the beer but haven't tried both at the same time.
