Alright guys ready to gooooooo

The Sheraton was 100 bucks at hotels.com and expedia but 160 at priceline?? I saw this and said fuck it and booked it right away at Hotels.com. The place looks amazing from the pictures, not that it matters for one night anyway.
Then I realized that ticket prices had gone up from just two days ago on stubhub so I figured this could be a more popular game than I thought... just picked up two terrace box seats section 45 row D for 96 bucks on the official orioles website.

I have lived in Baltimore for 30 years. This is what I would suggest.
Food:
- Samos in East Baltimore. This Greek place is seriously awesome. Cash only.
- Matthew's Pizza in East Baltimore. Handmade crusts. Not your usual pizza place.
- Golden West in Hampden. - As already suggested.
- Any of the ethnic restaurants in Mt. Vernon.
- Peter's Inn in Fells Point.
- There are plenty of good places in Federal Hill as well.

Sightseeing:
- Ft. McHenry. - It is a short drive. Or you can catch a water taxi from Fells Point or the Inner Harbor to the Fort.
- Washington Monument and Walters Art Museum in Mt. Vernon.
- Federal Hill has some nice views and the Museum of Industry and the Visionary Arts Museum.

The Sheraton was only 100 a night? Its showing as 160 for me, which isn't bad but 100 would be better of course. I'm looking at that place and the Peabody which is 120. I woulda thought a thursday night would be cheaper than the weekends but it doesn't seem so.

I'm thinking about getting tickets behind home plate for 55 or along the visitors dugout (anyone know which side that is at Camden) for ~30. I've always heard behind home is the best place to sit but I feel like I wouldn't get a great view of the actual game and field from there...

Visitor's dugout is on the 3rd base side.

Within walking distance is also Federal Hill, which is a bar district. I've walked from Fed Hill -> Camden Yards many times and have never felt unsafe.

As already mentioned, go to Pickle's Pub an hour or two before the game and enjoy cheap beer and a huge crowd of people. Grab some peanuts or something from the outside vendors along Conway St. (the stadium peanuts are terrible). Enjoy game. Check out Fell's Point (cab ride) or Federal Hill (walk or cab ride) if you're feeling drinky after the game.
