Grey Goose was a bit too expensive for a family/circle of friends who aren't really into hard liquor. I ended up getting a bottle of Smirnoff Triple Distilled Vodka [Red Label] ($15), it should be good enough.

I highly doubt you will find Kremlyovskaya on this short of notice, its really good Russian Vodka, if you can find it, get the Chocolate Flavored..

Smirnoff is fine, Grey Goose just never made sense to me. I don't like cheap alcohol, but refuse to spend the $ on expensive substances that I will piss out the same day.

Forget all these recommendations. Get the CHEAPEST handle (1.75L) of vodka that you can find "hawkeye, phillips, skol, etc."..... THEN, take it home, and put it in your ordinary brita water filter. Repeat that two more times, and you have vodka that tastes as good as the premium stuff, and i guarantee better than the vodkas listed above...

Thanks for the idea, but I already bought a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka, and it was only $15, which is pretty much fine for me.
