Going to Las Vegas, is it worth it to see the grand canyon?

i went there as a kid.. but we actually hiked down into the canyon and spent a week there.. so my experience was much more than just looking at it from the top.. but it's a pretty awesome

The Grand Canyon is just as it sounds. A really big hole in the ground. Not too exciting, but it does make you say, "Whoa." Look at it from all the angles you want, but it all looks the same to me..

If you are of an observant nature, watching the play of light over the canyon floor and peaks is amazing.

Nah, once you've seen one 277 mile mile long gash in the earth that's between 9 and 18 miles wide and over a mile deep, you've seen them all...stay in Vegas where you may actually see something entertaining...:roll:

I went there last year and I think that was the best part of the trip. Vegas was great, but the Grand Canyon was amazing.
