Going to Omaha, NE area this weekend; things to do?

Going for a wedding and looking at things to do in the area. Plans are to stop at the Zoo and Old Town for sure. Any excellent places to eat?

Oh I'm sure there are some good restaurants (I'm sure I went to a few), every town has them. Just google around. I haven't been there for 4 years.

If you are going to the Zoo, the Botanical Gardens are right up the street and very cool. Not sure how much will in bloom right now, but it's a cool facility.

Eh there are a lot more microbreweries in the area. Upstream is good but it isn't the best

I haven't lived there for about 8 years, so if it's anything new I don't know about it.

I'm a big fan of Lazlo's ( Emperyan Ales - Vanilla Porter). I believe the brew them in Lincoln, and drive them to the Omaha location out west (192nd and center).

Definitely a big fan of Blue Sushi and PepperJax, but I will say PepperJax can definitely have a bad day some days and hand you soggy fries. The phillies are usually always pretty good.

Unfortunately, many of the things I am aware of to do (softball/volleyball) are all league driven, so I can't help there.
