Regular Season in any sport is rarely an indicator of post season performance (Much to the dismay of Yankees and Red Wings fans).

That Said I hope Golden State pulls off the upset since
1) I can't even fathom Mark Cuban's reaction to such an event
2) I like rooting for the underdog

i'm a warriors fan, last time they made the playoffs i was 11 years old, haha.

it'll be a fun series to watch but even this was said int he preview for tomorrow's game:

Golden State deserves credit for the first one, but it has to be thrown out when analyzing this series because Mike Dunleavy Jr. and Troy Murphy were in the Warriors' rotation. They were traded months ago.

The second one came the night after Dallas won its 17th straight game. The Mavs were so vulnerable that "a Saginaw, Mich., high school team could have beaten them that night," Nelson said.

The third one was earlier this week, a game most of Dallas' best players sat out.

Of course it has to, because those two out right suck. The warriors would be lottery bound for yet another season if those two stuck around. Bumleavy is horrible. can't do crap. Zero defense, can't even hit mid range shots yet goes out and throws up three balls. Murphy is a softie. too afraid to get down and dirty to grab the boards and get easy buckets. Whoever gave the preview for the game is an idiot that has never watched a warriors game with those two on.

Larry Bird must've been drinking or something to give up stephen Jackson and Al Harrington for Bumleavy and troy murphy. they get poor players, and bloated contracts that no GM who's sober would take. Too bad Chris Mullin couldn't work his magic and dump adonal foyle in the process.

The Pacers were 20-20 before the trade, and went 15-27 to finish the season and into the lottery when they were looking at the playoffs for a 10th straight season. while the warriors were 19-22 went 23-18.

i think it'll be an awesome series.. and the warriors will take it to game 7.. i won't even be surprised if they actually beat the mavs... i think they've won the last 5 games against the mavs? all you have to do is win 4 in the series.. i think it's doable, and no one is giving GS any love.. the mav's downfall will be the fact that they will underestimate them

interesting facts: they were the san francisco warriors in the 60's... and the last time they made it to the playoffs, don nelson was the coach.. he lost in the playoffs to the suns and was fired a year later

The two 3-pointers by Davis at the end of the 3rd were great...GS doesn't have to completely rely on someone, unlike the Lakers...their second-half play was horrible.
