This better not be the norm, it is so easy to take a dry-erase marker to your screen and "cheat" with no repercussions other than a potentially guilty conscious.
Not sure what you mean about the dry erase thing, but I definitely would like to have crosshairs for my guns. Not having them makes it so much more difficult to surprise/hit someone long range when you are pretty much guessing where your shots are going to land.
You can find out where you gun is shooting, draw your own crosshair on the screen, and then erase it when you're done. Boom, you have your own crosshair when they don't give you one and noone can ever catch you for "cheating" unless they're right there to see your screen.

Stupid. Goldeneye 64 also had autoaim. Such things (including the "R" or I guess shift to bring up a crosshair) were implemented to make up for the handicap a controller has compared to kb+mouse. I love how they're really trying to stay true to the original, but it isn't the same thing. Stupid decision.
