I'm writing a perl script to auto assign groups for a golf trip that myself and a bunch of friends are going on. Every year there is a huge issue with people golfing several times with one person and not playing with someone else. I'm trying to come up for the algorithm to do this, but I'm not sure how to go about it.
For a start I have an array with the golfers, a variable to designate the size of the groups, and another to count how many rounds are going to be played. I don't believe any more inputs should be necessary.
Anyone want to help out?
