Good 1600x1200 19" monitor?

I was originally going to go with the 955DF, but the low refresh at 1600x1200 kinda disappoints me... are there any similar monitors, but with good refresh rates at 1600x1200?

My 19" is a Hitachi CM753: 1600x1200 @85hz.

Good monitor, I'm sure they have similar now, I am very pleased with this monitor.

KDS XF-9E does 1600x1200 @ 75Hz and it costs less then $200. uses a sony tube last time i checked and its a flat CRT. and you can get them at walmart so theres no shipping

I have a one year old 19" Sony Trintron Monitor that kicks a** at 1600x1200.

In fact I'm selling this monitor on the for sale/trade forum probably tomorrow. No scratches, blemishes nothing... This monitor looks brand new and was never taken out of my apartment. I'm selling it at a good price.

look for it tomorrow if interested.

Hyundai F910. 1600X1200 @85hz. Shadowmask flatscreen for $225 shipped. I own one of these and its awsome. In my opinion its better then some trinitron monitors.

Get the Sony CPD-G420. It can do 1600 x 1200 @ 85 Hz and 1792 x 1344 @ 75 Hz and it's by far the best monitor I've ever used in terms of image quality.

the NEC FE990 is a good flat screen CRT that works well at 16x12. i'll put in a second vote for Hitachi's 19in F line.

I sure wouldn't recommend a 955DF. Mine came with some minor problems, and after only 2 months of use, seems to be developing blurriness in one corner.

With any of them be sure to get a good pair of spectacles and eat lots of carrots...can you say "eye strain"?

haha, a 19" is f-ing huge, 1600x1200 is fine. i use 1024x768@60hz on a VERY BLURRY, VERY VERY horrible old compaq 15" monitor, and that is slightly painful after a while.

If text quality matters then the 900NF isn't recommended. It's a good monitor, but it's aperture grill - not the best for text.

I have one of those, as well as a Samsung 950p. The 950p blows it away for text, and does 1600x1200 @ 75. I dunno why they don't sell it anymore. By the way, what is one of these worth used (good cond.)? $140? I've recently replaced it with a Samsung 172T LCD flat panel.

I prefer to use less than 1600x1200 on a 19" though.
