Good 19" Monitor?

Anybody know of a good website that does reviews on monitors? I've been wanting to buy a 19" monitor but I'm not sure which one to get....any input would be appreciated

The 900NF is really nice...I have a 1200NF and love it. However, the LG995e is not too bad and about half the price.

I suppose Samsung 900NF wins this time. I however have the Iiyama VM Pro 450 and it is not bad at all. The Samsung is cheaper though. The Samsung got an award in a recent survey in a UK PC mag called PCPro.

As much as I hate going with the crowd I have to vote for the 900NF, I recently demod one at a computer place (like WorstBuy or CrapUSA or whatever, but a Canadian version).

It's fantastic...I'd say it's on par with the Sony G400 for much much less $$.

I have to move around alot in the next couple years so I'm sticking with my 17" for portability, but as soon as I settle in I'm buying a 1200NF no doubt about it (1200NF = 21" version of 900NF).

900NF is a good monitor at a good price, it compares to the E400 not the G400, but if you can afford the G400 I recommend that first.

Samsung 955sl(short lenght) is NOT a flat screen monitor, however if you're short of space then it's not a bad deal.

It compares to the E400? Where did you read that? The E400 has poor geometry from what I've heard. And can the G400 do 2048x1536 at 69Hz? Samsung knows just as much as Sony if not more when it comes to making monitors. The clarity on this screen at 1600x1200 at 85Hz is super dupa.

I likd FD Trinitron better.. CTX, MAG, KDS all have the monitor that's using the same tube as Sony G400, all about the same price as the Samsung 900NF as well..

It actually compares to the G400 not the E400, because you see, the specs are even higher than G400's, albeit only slightly higher.

For a reasonable price the samsung 950p is a pretty sweet monitor! I've had one for 8 months or so and had no problems at all!

In price only (that's a good thing), I've never actually seen an E400, but I'd consider the 900NF quite similar in quality to the G400. And the 900NF quite outspecs the E400. I don't know how much of a gap exsists between E and G (as I said I've never seen the E), but the 900NF is very close to the G400 and much cheaper.

I've found that the other manufacturers that use FD Trinitrons aren't as good as Sony's own monitors.

I have never tried Ilyma (sp?) though, I hear they are excellent monitors as well.

I have an E400. I have no complaints so far. running at 1280 X 960 at 85hz. Got it for $243, don't think there is a much better deal than that out there.

Isn't this like the 10000th time this question has been asked?

If you have a budget, Get the Samsung 900NF for ~$425 shipped.
Otherwise, Get the Sony G400 or the Mitsubishi 900u.
