Good (and CHEAP) wireless keyboard/mouse combo?

I was wondering if anyone out there knew of any good wireless keyboard/mouse combo's out there that will work 10 to 15 feet away from the receiver. I also am on a pretty strict budget right now and would like to be able to get it for $50 or less.

Any ideas?

I'm leaning towards a Microsoft Bluetooth set off of ebay for ~$60 including the butt reaming $15.00 "shipping" + $2 "insurance". That always angers me to see "shipping gougers", especially when everyone offering what you want is doing it. What can ya do? *sigh*

The A4Tech set I bought under the Kensington label at Staples a while back ($10., but can't get for that any more) works fine. The keyboard works across two rooms and two intervening walls and the mouse gets more than 12 feet. If you play around with receiver placement, you might do even better.

That set is made of unobtainium (a one-off special for Staples via Kensington - you can check your local Staples on the off chance that they have one left - it's been over a year) but here is a link to Newegg's selection of A4Tech stuff:. Beware that the pictures on newegg for the KBS-835RF don't match the written description or the "Product Link" - the pictures are of the KBS-8533RP.
. My keyboard is the one in this set: KBS-827 or KBS-8533RP and the mouse is an old ball type - the color schemes don't match (probably why they sold them so cheap). You can see my review of it on http://www.techimo.com/reviews/ ...

. Asking $20. on B-I-N... Starting bid $2. - no bids yet. There is another one there too with a starting bid of $10. and more reasonable shipping charge. But remember, these kits have ball mice, not optical. .bh.

I use a logitech at home, and I love it (except that the @*#% hot-key software does not support FireFox). We use Logitech at my office in the conference room. It works great at 15 feet.

Note that the instructions say that you need to keep the receiver a couple of feet away from other electronics or metal items. People who have problems with reception should try moving the receiver.
