Allthought the stupidest bank robber was the guy who wrote "This is a hold up put all the money in this bag" on his own deposit slip and left it there as he ran away with the money.

NOT the stupidest ever...i heard a better one a couple months ago

guy walks into the bank of america. takes a deposit slip and begins writing "gibe mi all ur muny" on BOA deposit slip. *shows note to teller* teller cant accept the slip due to "bad spelling". she asks him to rewrite the note and then come back. the teller from BOA calls the cops. being an idiot, he walks across the street to wells fargo. teller says she cant accept the note due to the fact that its wells fargo and its a BOA deposit slip. dude walks out WF and the cops bust him.

Tied a chain from the bumper of their truck to the ATM.

Tried to pull ATM out of the ground, bumper fell off.

In a panic, would-be thieves speed off, leaving bumper with license plate.

Cops track them down by license plate.

So stupid...
