Good Cell phone/Smartphone?

Treo 650 is NICE. Best combo phone/PDA I've ever used.

That said, I'd still rather have them as separate devices, which is how I have things now.

Well, actually the i600 is a PDA/Smartphone.

Yeah it is, but , but the others aren't, so I went with the odds. Which one are you getting, and why?

I have the Motorola v265 on Verizon, and love it. I'd personally go with the v710 if I had the chance as it has Bluetooth and a nicer screen. Both are tri-mode phones with the best RF you can get on the Verizon network.

Still not sure which phone I'm getting. But the reason why I may not be getting a smartphone is because it appears that there are extra data fees for the features that I would want anyway (PocketIE, PocketOutlook, MSN).

BTW, does anybody know about the Amazon.com $150 rebate phones and if they are compatible with a family plan? For example, if you are getting 4 lines in a famliy plan, can all 4 of those lines get the $150 rebate from Amazon and still be on the same plan?

Well, not specifically. They do appear to let you switch over to a family plan according to their site. However, I'm confused as to whether you can do this with only one of the phones for the family plan, or all of them.

Yes you can switch to a family plan, but if you do it before you get the rebate, then they won't pay you. It takes about 5-6 months before they send the rebate.
