Amazon has the Metrolake Houdini Corkscrew in blue for $9.99, $40 off. This is made by the people that make the Rabbit and is very similar. I ordered four for cheap gifts (free shipping!) that don't look cheap. They came today and are very nice.

Isn't "the rabbit" a vibrator?

The name applies to both- just don't mix up the two

This was on sale during the black friday weekend as well, but I was able to get one of the black ones.

I received it pretty quickly and I'm pretty happy with it. It is certainly "cheaper" feeling than the ones you pay $40+ for but for me it works well and the fact that they include a replacement corkscrew is nice.

Amazing that the blue version is $9.99 while the black one is $19.99. I mean, why wouldn't everyone want an electric blue corkscrew?

When I was in college we used to buy a case of that stuff and rent a ski cabin in the mountains. $20 a case is pretty cheap when you're a college kid. Too bad that stuff made you want to commit suicide the next morning.

I dont drink so im usually the designated driver. I dont like the feeling of a hang over and drinking usually makes me lazy. So that's why they call me iron lungs! Man, I miss my friends cabin! I remember the first time I went there I ran up the concrete stairs and I slipped on my a$$ pretty hard. Later that afternoon, my friends told me they watered down the stairs the night before so somebody like me would slip on it. PUNKS!!! *SIGH* the good old days!

Now I know what my boss is getting ... and my grandmother, and my mom, and my wife...

Also picked up the Hoffritz stainless wine savers... nice price at $6.99.

These make GREAT stocking stuffers.

The black one used to be $9.99 (over black friday)...but guess it was too popular versus blue so they upped the price so people would buy the blues.

Boones often goes on sale here for $.99 per bottle. We'll just go in and grab case upon case. . . . It eventually turned into a competition to see who could get the longest receipt (the receipts are posted on our doors in the fraternity house).

One day, I had more than a cart-full, but knew the girl working the register, she hooked me up with a pretty hot deal that made them about $.40 per bottle

I only buy wine with the screw off caps. They are much easier to open. Who wants pieces of cork in their wine? I can't taste any difference compared to the fancy schmancy corked bottles. I hate fooling with wine openers and corks so it's just as well.

Straight from the mouth of the poorest guy in the continental Unites States

Just kidding. I'm not much of a wine drinker period, but I did drink my share of the cheap stuff in college. Occasionally we get a nice bottle of Chianti or a Merlot for special occations. But when it all comes down to it I'd rather have a good brew any day.

I wonder what the average age of a Boone's Farm consumer is? No way it is over 20. Winos prefer Thunderbird and noname "wines" over Boone's for higher alcohol per penny ratios.

I am surprised people continue to buy Boone's. Just about everyone I knew would get really drunk on it once. The aftereffects the next day are so severe that they never touch it again.
