Good code synchronization program?

I'm looking for a program (it's fine if it costs $$) to basically sync code between, for example, a dev location and a production location. I was using "Synchronize It!":

but I don't really like it too much. The interface kinda sucks. Is there something else that will basically take whatever code I've updated in a dev location and copy it to the production location? And even better.. if the program has a 3-stage sync (dev -> test -> prod), that would be ideal.

Sort of depending on your view. Most people view source repositories from a "pull" perspective meaning that you commit your changes to the repo and then other people pull them down. So it could easily work if he setup a repo and then had another script on the server to pull the changes perodically but it depends on where he wants the distribution logic.

Found one: http://winmerge.org/

Not only does diff and merge, but will show modified files in different directories, and let you move the file to one directory or the other. Very cool.
