Having an older model Sorint phone (Samsung 3500 flip) I am tired of dropped calls. I called Sprint and told them that I wanted the service cancelled. After some time I was connected with a serivce rep who asked what would make me stay with Sprint?
I told him that I was tired of the Samsung 3500 dropping calls and I wanted one of the new 3d third gerneration phones that would give me web enabled services and better reception. My original plan was 1000 anytime minutes and 1000 off peak minutes since we use the phone for business, we come close to using the anytime minutes but never use up the off peak.
Here is the deal I got, after some talking:
1. New Samsung A500 MSR $300 web enbled color display phone. Very highly rated. Cost me $50 free shipping to my home.

2. 2000 anytime minutes, unlimited web service and free anytime minutes from my Sprint phone to ANY other Sprint phone. $10 more than I was paying at $85/month.
3. New phone number for my old Samsung (it really is not all that bad) to use as a secondary phone and share the minutes of the plan. New phone number for it. My old phone number stays with the new phone. No charge for this!
This means that my wife and I each have a phone with no charge if I want to talk with her. Free minutes Sprint to Sprint This will be great when I lose her in the mall. Since both phones are Sprint, there is no cost to call her and find out where she is.
