I'm looking for a midrange computer bundle, and this one has caught my eye. What does everyone think of the price and company? Also, are Circuit City rebates reliable?

I agree, the Dell coupons really make their units very affordable. You can get all the bells and whistles stuff from $499 to $999. You can even afford a lcd upgrade. Good hunting.

Where are these coupons at? Also, is there any place to figure out the specs on these prebuilt machines? The obvious ones are listed, but what about motherboard chipsets and bus speeds?

Just Google it by inserting "Dell coupons" and you should find all the different websites. Take your time to find the best home/home office coupons. Sometimes you can even get a Dell Laptop priced at $1999 for $750 less (coupon) or Desktop etc......

Login to Dell website and lookup the computers you're interested in.
Custom build one, and use the coupon at the end to lower the price that makes the Dells all too great to turn down. Have fun ordering.

where the hell are the specs for that peice of crap?

I'd rather go with a Dell, instant rebate, and higher quality then Acer, anyday. an eMachine wouldn't be a bad choice either.

But Acer, their products are next to breaking the same day (owners know what I mean), you'd wonder why their prices are slightly cheaper.

So there are coupon codes out there that dell doesn't advertise on their site? Every computer I've looked at from Dell already seems to be at a discounted price.

Dell doesn't offer the $750 discounts and the like on their site. The higher discounts are found outside. If Dell offers $600 discounts and you could use the $750 discount to buy the same item; its your pick, and so on down the line.
Yes, Dell offers discounts, but wouldn't your want a little more? Your option.......

Can anyone give me a specific link to coupons or tell me what they've seen in pamphlets and such? Also, do Dells have good cases, powersupplies and motherboards? Lastly, if I wanted to put a graphics card in my Dell later, will it fit or does Dell design their expansion slots to only fit other dell products? Basically, I'm trying to decide whether or not it's better for me to build my own PC and buy a monitor seperate for under 600 dollars, or whether I should just get a Dell/emachine/whatever. Any input?
