First, he could ask that they be in stock However, these cans are fine for hip-hop, but otherwise have been widely panned by people who know headphones. The MDR-V6 (and later the MDR-7506...which basically have the exact same specs as the V6) are considered by many to be one of the best set of cans under $100. Etronics carries both.
