I couldn't find one, either, so I wrote what is unquestionably the worst piece of Java ever coded (about six months ago). Basically, it waits a set amount of minutes (NOT until a time), then opens Winamp3 (which plays automatically). But damn it, it has snooze built in!

Anyway, if no one is more helpful than this, I'd be happy to email the disgusting thing to you.

I just downloaded a clock app, it let's me change what I want done at the alarm time.

Banshee Screamer Alarm - never had any warnings in Ad-Aware or S&D either.. but LMK if you know something about this app I don't.

Karen's Alarm Clock

KAC is a simple alarm clock that's fast and doesn't feel bloated. It's gone through several versions since I last used it, but the latest version apparently has support for MP3's according to the webpage.

Errrrr...... Ummmmm....... I didn't start this thread, but I'm always glad to get my hands on some Java code. Could I have it?

I just use the built-in Task Scheduler in Win2k. I assume XP has it as well. I set it to run WMP6.4 with an mp3 file as an argument, and I set two different tasks for weekdays and weekends. I use WMP since I don't see any obvious way to make Winamp 2.8 start playing when it loads. Not much in the way of fancy settings or GUI, but it does the job.

It works also with foobar2k.

My default media player, jetAudio, includes an alarm and timer.

i used to use task scheduler, but now it complains that i don't use the right password. i don't have a password to login with windows
