Good Keyboard??

Hello,
I'm looking for a decent programmers keyboard.
I've tried every keyboard I could get my hands on (literally) and none provides a good
feeling...
I've tried oem keyboards, genius keyboards, microsoft keyboards, cherry keyboards, logitech
keyboards, you name it and I have probably tried it...

I remember old IBM model M keyboards, they were good but I can't get one new/or barely used
with my country's layout. I'm currently using a Genius "comfort" keyboard that almost does it
problem is that the keys are to close togheter!!

Does anyone know of good keyboard??

KeyTronic's 2001 keyboards rock, they kinda remind me of them old IBM keyboards, cept they're quite a bit lighter

I like my Microsoft Internet Keyboard Pro.

Nothing beats the old IBM "clicky" keyboards though.

Been there, when my old Northgate Omnikey died I almost went into mourning. I'm very picky about solid keyboards with mechanical feedback.

The best replacement I found (after a long search) was the Focus 2001, they have them here .

Heavy, good "clicky" feel, not cheap but not ridiculously expensive, either.

Hi I like my Keytronic Lifetime series
seems very robust and takes a hammering . Use 1 on my gaming machine
and 1 on my other. Although i think its down to personal feel,just my 2c worth

If you didn't like Cherry, you probably won't be satisfied with anything but an old IBM or Northgate. I believe Northgate used Alps switches, and Focus may still make some that do. Fujitsu keyboards have also been praised for their feel, and Jameco used to sell them.
