Good-looking case w/o Front Door?

I've been looking for a cheap ($50-100) but good-looking case but they all have front doors! I guess the front-door concept is new to me, but I'm used to cases that simply have all you need + the power button the front without the need to open a door every time you need to access something. Why the front doors?!

Anyway... does anyone know of a good-looking, decent case that doesn't have a front door? Or do you guys think the front door won't be as much of an issue as I'm thinking?

P.S. I had been looking at the ASPIRE X-CRUISE and the Thermaltake Soprano, really liked the look of those two. The only non-door one that seems alright so far is the CoolerMaster Centurion5 so far. Is that one alright? Still looking for other options though...

Thanks!

I like understated elegance. For me, doors and hinged side covers are a pita.

For 120mm fan air flow=good cfm @ low dBA, Lian Li PC-60 or PC-7 Plus, with front and rear
120mm fans.

If all you need is two 80mm intakes and one 80mm exhaust look at the KingWin 424 series of cases.

Because of their crappy PSUs Aspire should be called Expire

The centurion 5 is IMO the best looking case out there. I hate doors myself and I've used a few centurion 5's for different builds!

For me it came down to the Centurion and the Lian-Li PC-7 Plus. I went with the Lian Li cause I wanted to try an all aluminum case and I am happy with it. I would have been pleased with Cenaturion also, I am sure.

I just received this case by AMS from NewEgg. I was absolutely blown away when I opened the box. It looks slick without any ugly headlights or stupid *extreme* features. Seems to be very sturdy, and it's only $43. Check it out.

I love my Antec TX640B. It comes with a great 400W PSU as well.

I think the Centurion 5 is one of the best cases I have ever owned. I have also owned the AMS case but sold it because it was WAY too hot. My CPU temps dropped 10 degrees under load when I switched from the AMS to the Centurion. The only other case that could match the Centurion was my Chieftec Dragon, but that thing was huge, and didn't look as good.

The Kingwin 424 series is always on my short list - a lot of heavy aluminum case for the money. ZZF usually has a good selection and decent prices. Pretty much the same case with different feature sets have been available under the Beantech and Victor names at computergate.com

Centurion 5 is very good for the price. About $55 shipped from NewEgg when on sale. I have this for my wife's business computer. Runs VERY cool. I have two complaints. The first is that the front panel is a pain to remove-I already broke off one mounting stub. The second, is the power button (I guess you can have keyboard power up) and USB is on the bottom. Since she runs this 24/7 the power button is not an issue and I put a USB hub on the desk for her. Both problems solved.

I have a Antec P160. It uses drive doors so if you have a beige or black drive it doesn't matter. The USB and pwer button is at the top.

I still do not understand doors on computers....IMO it is a pain having to open the door to insert a CD/DVD. A bigger pain is that if the computer is on the wrong side of the desk!
