Good Low-profile GFX card.

Hello All, I am finally looking to get a decent enough graphics card for myself. My system is a mini-ITX in an Antec ISK-300-150.

ASRock Z68M-ITX/HT
i52500K
2x4GB Ripjaws
3x 120GB SSD's in RAID-0

The PSU will a Flex-ATX 350W which I will transplant into my current PSU enclosure to get the benefit of an 80mm fan. I tried looking but its a bit confusing.

From my reading, AMD's are the way to go but don't know which ones are the best bang for the buck.

i have a nvidia 440. it's a half card that dosen't require a dedicated connection to the PSU, so it should fit. it's quiet and cook, performs well enough

There are half height GTX 460s. I had one. Sadly some bozo put the PCI-E power connectors on the side, so I couldn't put the lid back on the case. They do make them with properly located power connectors though, so I imagine they probably make half height gtx 560s?

I just built a new comp for my gf with AMD new APU A6-3650 which comes with a HD 6530D. The 6530D is quite the little performer and I was really surprised.

So the 6570 should be a few notch better and could run some games depending on your resolution and amount of details you want to have.

Are you forgetting that you also need a single-slot card for that case? See pictures below:

The most powerful card that would fit in your case is an HD6570, such as the one Rhezuss linked above, or this one for a bit less money:

The GTX460 low-profile card, with its huge double-wide heatsink, obviously wouldn't fit.

Have you tried the onboard HD 3000 graphics and decided you need a low profile gaming card?

The integrated HD 3000 graphics w/ QuickSync is suppose to be much improved from previous Intel offerings.

Yep, i'd go with the Sapphire one. One of the best (if not the best) AMD partner out there.

That's a good place to start, although the 6570 is significantly faster than the 5570. I'd say the 6570 would be 3-4x faster than the integrated Intel graphics.
