Good Motherboard for Celerons?????

Ok here is the deal....Im gonna end up building about 4-8 systems for a friends Business. I need to know who makes and what model # of a nice and stable Celeron Motheboard....There will be NO Overclocking involved as these are business systems and am going for stability. Any opinions are appreciated. will most likely be using 500Mhz Celerons is a PPGA format.

I just built about 40 of them using Epox boards.For workstations using NT4 or any other OS they just keep on tickin. No problems.

I've worked with them both and they're great. The CUBx has a few advantages like ATA66 and 2 onboard USB with a Header and BackPlate for 3 more (so 5 USB ports). The CUBx also comes with either 1 or no ISA slots (make sure you get the one that fits yer needs).

BTW, with Abit boards having over 7% RMA rate, I sure would not put a business customer in one, let alone 8!!!

As you can see by my sig I use Abit and love the boards.But as you see,I recommend what I know works and keeps the tech away like a maytag repairman. Epox or Tyan works well in this environment,don't you agree?

I agree, Epox and Tyan are good boards too. Also, don't forget the Asus. Most people who are hardware geeks are fine using Abit. For a customer in a business environment, I'd be shy to recommend them. That is my point.

I felt the same about Asus.Both Abit and Asus are power tweaking boards and have subtle tendencies to need some care.I feel they arte excelent boards.But whats under the hood in a secretarial pool has no bearing on what we like. Epox and Tyan have been doing quite well making stable mobos for this very envirnment for customers all over the world.They also are the manufacturers that build for gateway,dell,compaq,nec etc.The big boys like them too.

No I didn't find a price, you have to call them to get it, or at least I presume from their ordering page.

They look exspensive becuase of their features.

They are generally less expensive than Abit,Asus,Microstar,and others and they make great server boards.Those get pricy.This board I refered to uses Udma33,therefor is not at a price premium.That is not a factor in this choice I believe because the hdd speed diff. is measured as &quot;burst speed&quot;. That is not a factor unless you are doing graphics,audio editing,or some other number crunching activity.

I sell Epox and Tyan boards. Thats why I asked what you have seen. Thank you for responding.
