If at first you don't succeed, try try again.

So the old proverb instructs.

When that didn't work out for Hillary Clinton, she discovered another one: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

During the 2016 campaign, Clinton took every opportunity to promise a reversal of the 2010 Supreme Court decision in the Citizens United case. Starting in May 2015, the Democrat told a gathering of her top donors that she planned to use the court's decision on political speech and campaign finance as a litmus test for her nominees to the Supreme Court, eventually hoping for a reversal of the precedent. That position remained unchanged all the way through to the final presidential debate with Donald Trump, when Clinton argued that America needed "a Supreme Court ... that will stand up to Citizens United, a decision that has undermined the election system in our country because of the way it permits dark, unaccountable money to come into our electoral system."

Clearly, some kinds of dark and unaccountable money are more dark and unaccountable than others. After two failed attempts to win the presidency, Clinton has formed a new political group called Onward Together, which will raise money for, and encourage engagement in, so-called "resistance" groups that oppose President Trump and his agenda. "More than ever, I believe citizen engagement is vital to our democracy," Clinton explained in a series of tweets announcing the group. "We're launching Onward Together to encourage people to get involved, organize, and even run for office."

Just how will Onward Together reflect Clinton's values, as expressed during the 18 months she ran for the nation's highest office? The group has a familiar arrangement, as CNN reported. According to one source within Clinton's organization, Onward Together is a 501(c)(4) with an associated political action committee. That allows unlimited fundraising without any requirement to disclose donors, even though Clinton's mission for the group explicitly includes finding candidates to run for political office. An aide to Clinton confirmed to CNN that Onward Together would not choose to disclose its donors, either.

Yeah, but this is a little like General Lee starting an anti-slavery movement. Hillary is a corporate shill and she and her entire wing of the Democrat party can quit appropriating real peoples' struggles and FoaD. She's going to end up in Hell right next to all the GOP profiteers, because as a person she's not that different.

Sick Hillary spoke at a tech conference (not a joke). Nary a moment of self reflection.

It's sad when even Andrea Mitchell calls you out on your conspiracy theories

Andrea Mitchell: No Evidence For Hillary's "Conspiracy Theory" That Russia Must Have Had Help From "Americans"
Posted By Tim Hains
On Date June 1, 2017

MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell responds to Hillary Clinton's accusation that the Russians never could have known how to effectively deploy the files they stole from her campaign without help from "Americans." Mitchell, a longtime friend of the Clintons, describes this accusation as a "conspiracy theory" without evidence.

"She doesn't have the evidence, but she obviously is hoping that this is what Robert Mueller and what the Congressional committee's going to do," Mitchell told MSNBC viewers.

Are we still dumb enough to be saying this both sides shit?

Hillary lost, and I have no sympathy for her. The Russians and Trump gave her trouble and I'd be pissed too. Then she turns on the DNC, the ones who favored her over Bernie? Everyone is at fault and she's apparently incapable of having miscalculated about anything. Damn, sounds a lot like Trump. Neither one can take any ownership for anything.

But she's literally taken responsibility for the loss on numerous occasions. It's well documented.

She said she made mistakes and she said that Russia's interference and Comey's letter cost her the election. Those are both true.

Context matters. She was being asked about tech and how it affected her campaign. She's already said on other occasions that she bares some responsibility.

Its funny how Bernie supporters blame Hillary or the DNC and Bernie blames the system no one says shit but when Hillary makes similar observations, suddenly she's the sore loser.

Double standards? Yeah, I'd say so.

She keeps blaming someone new and won't stop. After a while a legit concern turns into a whine. It's like that family on facebook who keeps everyone updated three times a day on their birthing classes. Yeah we know.

The difference, of course, is that no one is asking that family for updates whereas everywhere Clinton goes they are asking her about her loss.

Smart people like to learn from history, others want to ignore it when it's uncomfortable.

There's a problem here. The DNC favored Hillary over Bernie. They were not impartial and lined up behind Hillary and pushed. OK, Bernie wasn't a "real" Democrat, but you can't really compare a benefactor to the disinherited.

It's a topic that comes up constantly and her statements about it are true.

I can't learn anything else here. I get it but it becomes wearing. I'm becoming impatient with the state of this mess we have and it's like "are we there yet"?

YMMV, I'm in a pissy mood

Lol. We get it, Bernie's complaints are valid and Hillary's isn't. /eyeroll

Going to partially disagree here. She has indeed said that she accepts some blame, in a general way. However, she's short on specifics of why she's to blame and long on specifics of why others are to blame. I think she's pushing a narrative where the primary responsibility lies outside her control. True or not, that's the impression she's pretty clearly trying to convey here.

I already said she had legit complaints. The thing that irritated me was her complaining about the DNC who backed her, not anyone else. You are going to have a hard sell to say otherwise. But whatever, it's not an earth shattering thing.
