she's in a coma - a real one, not a medically induced one. I hate to see her this way - she looks awful, However - Coma, less pain.

more brain surgery ASAP hopefully this week, neuro surgeon thinks he knows what went wrong last time. God I hope he's right. You have no idea how scary this stuff is.

Wow sorry to hear. She is in my prayers. Maybe the coma will actually make it easier to do the surgery somehow, and in the end everything will work itself out. Must be really nerve wracking going through this though.

She had surgery no 3 this afternoon. Doc said it went well. He also explained what was different about this surgery and why it should fix the bleeding. I didn't really understand what he was saying, but it sounded like he knew what he was talking about.

She looks like someone who just got out of surgery, but they're happy with her numbers.

Today's fun (no it wasn't fun) this morning her heart stopped. They got the heart zapper immediately and it started up right away.

Medicare wasn't going to pay for any more time in the CICU because her heart has been decent. But then after her little incident, Medicare changed their mind. The docs want to keep her here because the monitoring and stuff is much better. So, she's awake now. Still in pain and not happy, but awake. Yup, she's in there. She's going to be okay. It'll be a while, but this is her. Hi Mom.
