good orthodontists in LA area?

Anyone knows good/good priced orthodontists in LA area? Any idea of the price range? UCLA dental school told me it's gonna be around $4500 for me.......

first if you can afford it.. get delta dental / PMI insurance.. depending on what you need to be done on your teeth.

John D. Gazarian in Glendale is good, but there is a reason why he drives a Ferrari 355. I go to the guy and he wanted me to do some other stuff which another dentist said I didnt need.

What exactly do you need to be done?

eh....don't really know what needs to be done, haven't get an official estimate yet. I just want to get it straight, but that means at least 4, even 6 teeth need to be removed.

Ouch, I assume most of those are wisdom teeth?

I think I need to get braces as well, but it'd cost a small fortune and probably require some surgury. :frown:

no its not wisdom teeth, in most cases, they remove the tooth after the canine (premolar?) from each side and top and bottom to make room for the teeth they were straightening. good luck, don't chicken out, go thur with it, its well worth it. I chickened out the first time, but finally did it a few years later, wish I did it sooner!

anyone of you guys tried invisalign braces? i used to have braces but i was dumb and didnt wear my retainer, but i don't wanna go through normal braces again
