I turned it down to 1.55 after I got 237x11 to pass five minutes of p95.

I'm actually still not stable.
got a p95 rounding error after 6 hours of running last night. grr. I think it may just be this pos asus motherboard I have. I'm going DFI in a month or so.

I have the same mobo and processsor as you go and I have mine running stable at 237x11 1.75vcore, but i am not having any luck trying to get it to run any faster than that and still be able to run stable(run prime95 for 24+hrs w/o any errors). And yes I think it may have something to do with the pos mobo's we have that is why I am planning on getting a new mobo soon =)

I suspect the temp probe on your motherboard isn't reading accurately. In your screen shot your CPU temp is reporting 2c lower than your system temp, thats not possible with air cooling.

Your overclock looks pretty normal for the 3700+, you should be able to get it higher with more vcore. My 3700+ on an A8N-SLI deluxes does up to 2735 on stock volts and if I bump it to 1.55 it will do 2805 255x11 or 280x10

Yeah, I knew those temps were a little fishy. Well, I haven't really done much overclocking since then. I don't really feel like it. I mean it's all good and everything, but I really can't tell that big of a difference.

My 4200+ X2 (Stock) on a DFI n4 Ultra-D w/ XP90 idles at 25-26C and loads at 25-36C. This is on a Lian-Li PC-7B Plus case (120mm Intake/120mm Exhaust.)

Will start o/cing tonight and see what the temps go up to.

But in your case, Waylay00, system is incorrectly reporting the load temps.

Hi. I have the same proc and I used to run it at 2662mhz at stock volts, 242x11 on an MSI Neo2. I just switched over to an Asus SLI system and have the proc at 237x11, approx 2.6 at stock volts on this mb. That was my initial attempt at an oc on this board. I needed to get the system software stable first. I figure that if I can get an FX55 speed out of it, I would be happy. I think I'm gonna leave it there for a bit. Seems fast enough to me without having to add more volts.

Hey Waylay00, I also have a 3700 San Diego and I have it stable at 2805MHz (255x11) with a Vcore of 1.63v using the 333 memory divider. Don't know if your chip can do that as well, but it might be worth a try. I have mine installed in an ASUS A8V-E Deluxe (VIA K8T890 chipset) so it might overclock a bit different than the nVidia chipset.

As a side note, my board does not have a 1.63v Vcore setting, but if you set it at the max setting of 1.5625v and then set the CPU Vcore Offset to +200mv, it ups my Vcore to 1.6+v. Strange, but it works for me. Since you have an ASUS board, does your BIOS have the Vcore Offset setting as well?
