Now that i'm playing team fortress 2, i think using voicecom is much much more important now. I need a headset with good sound, good voice, and comfortable to wear. Any suggestions? Thanks!

How about a wireless solution, with just a mic and an earbud, so that voice will be transmitted through the earbud, while game sounds come from the computer speakers? That's what I'm looking for. I've got a Microsoft ZX-6000 but it's buggy and sometimes doesn't work.

I have the Xbox wireless receiver for PC and use my wireless Xbox360 headset. If you had a console and the wireless headset it'd be the way to go. It's pretty comfortable. Although it's an expensive solution just by itself. I did that so I could also use my Xbox360 controller on my PC for certain games.

It's exactly like the Lifechat ZX-6000 though. The same headset only for xbox, so either way. Like I said, I had this headset for my Xbox 360 and got the receiver to use it on my PC.

They're comfy, sound perfect, and don't hurt after hours use.

I have these, they're the best. With that said, Im now using my BT ear piece that I use for my cell phone instead. I love it. Voice gets transmitted through the ear piece, while game sounds come from the Logitech Speakers. The ear piece Im using is Plantronics 510. Clear sound, and everyone on the other end tells me I sound crystal clear.

the best gaming headset is the steelsound 5hv2. very comfy, hi quality build, braided lines. has retractable mic. great highs and mids, average bass. kind of pricey at 60-70$
i have these and love them.

the steelsound 4h which is close to the same thing is at buy.com now for 19.99

a decent alternative is plantronics audio.370 - not as crisp as the steelsounds but a good price- about 35.00

a lot of [peeps like the icemat headset- i didnt- they squeeze my head! plantronics audio.350 are kinda messy in the mids

Very simple, aslong as you have a bluetooth USB dongle connected to your PC, you can connect the ear piece to the PC through the dongle. Just make sure you have the right BT Stack drivers. Very cool.
