Good places to book a honeymoon

Hey all,

I am in the midst of trying to help plan me and my fiance's wedding. On top of all this we are also trying to plan a very nice honeymoon. Not really focused on price more just quality. We have really been looking at Sandals and it's all inclusive which is kind of what we are going for. Any ideas?

Personally, I'd never book through them again. They cancelled a trip we had taken just 2 days before we were supposed to leave. This was about a month after that hurricane hit Cancun, so we said fine. What really pissed me off is that it took them 6 weeks to refund us our money. :|

We had our honeymoon at Disney World. It sounded like a strange idea at first, but it ended up as my favorite vacation ever (even above our trip to Europe, an Alaskan cruise, and many private beaches in North America). Even if it wasn't our honeymoon, I'd still rate it #1.

I am going on my honeymoon December 16th to Sandals Ocho Rios. I highly reccomend Nancy from My Islang Get Aways. She has set up a tremendous ammount of people from theknot.com. She got me a crazy room upgrade at half the cost I could of got the lesser room for. Her contact information is below! She does all sorts of all inclusive resorts. She has been to them all and knows most people by name. Give her a call!

I've only had 2 experiences with them but both were their last minute deals (as in flying out in 2 days) - but both were positive experiences. But to each their own...

Booked our honeymoon through our local travel agency. After using Expedia to find the price for the days we were looking for, I took the flight information and hotel to the travel agent and they were able to match it all.

Post-hurricane you can hardly blame them. Much of Cancun was not habitable for tourists for several months

Like I said, the cancellation wasn't the issue. It's Apple's stance to take 6-8 weeks for a refund, that's my problem.

We did the "Weddingmoon" package at Sandal's Antigua. Would absolutely do it again in a heartbeat.

It was a great experience. We booked through a local travel agency that did Sandals. Price was better than anything we could do on our own (Expedia, self bookings w/ sandals, ect).

We're looking to do St. Lucia next year for 10 days.
