Jonnyguru recommended the Enhance ENS-0560G over the Sparkle FX700-GLN which is the same as the FPS FX700-GLN (discussed here) which is the same as the OCZ 700W Gamestream. This was for my Crossfire system and it has run flawlessly even heavily oced. Jonnyguru did a review of the Silverstone ST60F which is the same unit as the Enhance ENS-0560G. Hard to beat for the money.

Im liking the looks of the Enhance ENS-0560G. So that would be plenty of power for my system, and enough amps for my video card even if I wanted to overclock, right?

Also, you did say the Enhance ENS-0560G is the same as that silverstone, so it is also modular and the cables are wrapped? ( this is kinda important to me for the looks category)

I'm thinking I will go with theEnhance ENS-0560G if I'm correct in reading your post? Anyone else agree that it is good or disagree?

Thanks

Right, well you might want to do it using a multimeter for ACCURATE results.

Also, I see no reason why Enermax is not as good as Seasonic. In fact, given a choice between the two, I'd take an Enermax.

i do own a big typhoon in fact it's on this computer and it is very quiet. I can see how it wouldn't be hard for a 14cm fan to be a whisper. I still wonder who the OEM of that TT PSU is, as most of the 'major' brands don't make their own, power supplies is a business that a lot of companies rather not delve into making their own.

I have just received aToughpower 750W (with cable management) sample today. I will soon write a review about it. The 650W one rocks, let alone the 750W unit

I have the Enermax Liberty 500 as well and it is damn solid. I don't have crossfire or SLI, but I do run a volt-modded 7900GT heavily OC'ed and an Opteron 146 @ 2.8GHz with a 3-drive RAID-0 array, fourth SATA HDD, and optical drive and nothing phases this PSU. Was a HUGE upgrade over my old Ultra X-Connect 500W.

Sweet choice. You'll be very happy with it. I thought I would not use the little baggy that came with it but it actually is a pretty cool thing to hold your cables in, when you're moving things around. I am running ocd a64 2x6800gts and 3 hard drives and this thing barely gets hot. Awesome!

Let us know how it works out.

The Silverstone and the Enhance are the same unit. Both are modular with wrapped cables.

The Liberty is a nice unit and will serve you well. The Enhance is more powerful so it is probably more future proof. It also has extremely stable rails from the testing that jonnyguru did. One of the most stable he'd ever seen in fact. But like I said, the Liberty will be great for your needs and I know a lot of people who really like them.

AFAIK, the OEM for the Toughpower series is CWT (i know they make the <600W ones and the 750W, so i'll assume they make the rest).

Either the Enermax or the Enhance are great choices, either way you can't go wrong, but like Elfear said, the Enhance might be more future proof (if there is such a thing, maybe future resistant?).

Why would you get an ATi card if you had an SLi board? If you're only going to be running one card (which you will untill you switch cards to nvidia or switch the board to ATi chip) get the enermax liberty 400w. It should be more than enough to power your rig. BTW your rig will draw around 370w at full usage. The combined amps on the libety are 30amps, more than enough for you. If you are in fact going with crossfire, get the corsiar 520w with 40amps on the 12v rails. Both are modular, both are excellent, and I wouldn't suggest thermaltake.

I originally had a Asus 7900GTX but it was messed up so I RMA'd it and got the ATI card because I was pissed with NVIDIA =) Bad choice I know.
