Deadken, please piss off with your thread derailment attempts. I have no interest in repeating the TMGZ thread here, certainly not with someone who has somehow managed to remain ignorant of key evidence in that case which has been debated here ad nauseum.
I really couldn't care less what a username I've never seen before thinks about my comments in this thread, so please take your petty jabs and your indignation elsewhere. You being butthurt about the verdict means nothing to me. Sorry.

Prosecutors ordered him released, although they are "still investigating", which suggests no charges coming with the info currently at hand.

Attorney for janitor confirms he has a permit to carry, specifically because of his dangerous work conditions.

http://www.jsonline.com/news/crime/...released-from-jail-b99225538z1-250355061.html

From that link:

Nik Clark, president of Wisconsin Carry Inc., a gun rights advocacy group, said Friday that most concealed-carry permit classes stress several conditions any gun owner must consider before using deadly force.

"Be innocent of instigation, don't start anything," he said, and retreat if possible.

If retreat is not possible, Clark said, calculate the disparity of force. For example, he said, it might not be justified for him to shoot a frail, elderly woman even if she attacked him with a bat. But the opposite scenario would likely favor justified deadly force, he said.

Lastly, grave danger must be imminent, like someone advancing with a knife from closer than 20 feet. A knife-wielding assailant 100 feet away would not pose imminent grave danger, Clark said.

Clark said that from what's been reported so far, it seems all four factors were present when Rossetto chose to use his gun."

Pretty much what I was expecting, nice to see he isn't getting raked over the coals for handling things correctly.

The worst part will be listening to self-righteous leftards spewing ignorant drivel about the 'Culture of the Gun' in the US. All the while trying to justify the beat down the janitor received and demand he be punished for defending himself.

Nice job generalizing. Not all liberals are afraid of guns (concerned with irresponsible idiots having too easy access to them is another matter), everything in the OP link points to justifiable use of force.

Yes, the majority of my views are liberal and I like plinking.

Just so you know, the slain teens were the parents of two young children.

It seems a bit tragic that those 2 kids are now orphans.

Yes, tragic indeed. But you started a thread about law and facts, not emotion. One can discuss these things independently of each other, which does not imply the absence of the other.

It's a shame that children don't get to choose their parents.
This appears to be as clear a case of self defense as they come. A baseball bat is a deadly weapon. One hit can kill.

Unfortunately those children's parents instigated the incident which got them killed.

I feel bad for the children but had their parents not committed assault with a weapon that can easily kill someone they'd probably still be around for those kids.

Not enough information...need races of attacker(s) and attackee(s).

Attacker 1: He does running races, thus, he got away.
Attacker 2: He races against time with a baseball bat.
Attacker 3: He races against time without a baseball bat.
Defender: He races for his life, with a gun. Sort of like a biathalon with running and shooting.

And while that's a real shame and certainly sad, the fact that the 17 year old female had 2 kids from different guys before the age of 17 says a lot about her decision making abilities and judgment, just so you know.

Good luck with trying to help conservatives abandon faulty stereotypes, I've been saying that here for sometime, but they can't help themselves. Then again, when you have people like Feinstein in power, it's hard to blame them.

Irony?

Insulting the other side for using stereotypes - by using a stereotype.

There are many, many liberals and moderates who own and enjoy guns.

The majority of conservatives, particularly the far right, like to see non-conservatives as fearful anti-gun reactionaries.

Diane Feinstein represents the worst of the anti-gun left, as well as being a raging hypocrite in sore need of retirement.

All of those are factual statements. I'm sorry if you find me addressing them to be ironic. As a non-affiliated moderate who likes to go by the issue, what "other side" am I insulting exactly? If I offended you, well there's your free society confirmation of the day, you're welcome!

I really couldn't care less what a username I've never seen before thinks about my comments in this thread, so please take your petty jabs and your indignation elsewhere. You being butthurt about the verdict means nothing to me. Sorry.
1) I suggested that you PM me in order NOT TO derail this thread. You are a day late, and a dollar short, with your false sincerity. It simply comes off as you throwing more chaff while you duck and cover to avoid answering the simple questions that scare you so.

2) I have no interest in repeating the TMGZ thread here. You were the one who brought up GZ, so I asked 3 simple Yes / No questions in an attempt to gain context about your statement. No debate requested, needed, or desired. Besides, you have proved that you aren't capable of debate.

3) I don't care if you've heard my name before or not. I don't care about your post count, join date, username, etc... I don't care what you think of me. Frankly, I dismissed you when I read your writings. There is no reason for me to be concerned what someone thinks about me when I have no respect for them.

4) What you consider petty jabs are probably pretty accurate. I have ZERO reasons to believe otherwise.

5) I have no reason to be indignant. I haven't presented myself as being angry or treated unfairly. Perhaps now would be a good time to brush up on your reading comprehension and/or vocabulary.

6) Your assumption about me being 'butthurt' is as misplaced as your thoughts. And, again, I don't care what you think because, again, you mean nothing to me.

7) Keep your false apologies, they aren't worth anything to me.

Frankly, as stated previously, I find your avoidance of a few simple questions to clarify your position to speak volumes about you. Again, I gave you a chance to address things. And, I asked that you reply privately as to not derail the thread. I also considered that if you responded privately, it might cut down on your 'chest pounding' if you weren't trying to impress others. Instead, like a child craving any kind of attention, you continue to act like a tool and continue to post in this thread.

Please, buffoon, continue your dance if it makes you happy. Regale us some more with other stories of how brave and strong you are. Ohhh, wait, wouldn't that be you derailing the thread yet again?!? Perhaps you should make another thread...

Careful now, you might get a lengthy post on how little you mean to him too!

He's just one of those still addled from the verdict I suspect, you just have to let them get all frothy from time to time. I'm sure he'll get over it eventually.

So civilized = allowing thugs to triple team a much older man while he's working for a living, hold him down and beat him with a baseball bat?

And if he dares to defend his life, lock his ass up?

If that's civilized, then I want no part of it.

Fuck Wisconsin.

Best thing that likely could have happened to them, in the long run. :\

That is just some sick shit right there. The best thing that happened to two small children was that their parents were killed? Christ man, have you no human decency?

You're right, it is tragic. Its very tragic that their parents couldn't consider the needs of their children (they need parents, right?) and make better choices than assaulting a man minding his own business.

Might all work out in the end though. Maybe they'll get adopted by people with some decency and common sense so that they can be raised into productive members of society.

Holding down and beating a guy with a bat is decent? And that same guy being beaten is a vigilantly? Oh, wait, he was supposed to know about these KIDS and take them into account while possibly pondering his last moments on earth?

This here is failtroll at it's best. Look at all the responses you are getting to lube with.

NOW, these kids may have a chance to live a normal(ish) life not being raised by people who would do such a thing.
