i am looking for a good vid card around 50$ no more than 70$ that has DVI and can play DX8 games ok... any recommendations on which and where to buy? thanks in advance!
Radeon 9100/9200 series should be in your price range. I'm not going to count out the 9200 SE series since its within your budget and it does ok, from what I've seen(have one right now for review), just think of it as a Geforce 4 mx series with pixel shading.
I'm Canadian so I'm not familiar with Best Buy, but today I read a post in another forum saying that at Best Buy on "Black Friday", the first day of Christmas shopping, Best Buy will be selling the 128mb Radeon 9600 (non-Pro) for $70.
But aside from that, a 128mb Radeon 9100 would probably be the best option in your price range.
