mybeautycenter or whatever it is has a nice selection at great prices. I thought they were a scam at first because of how low their prices were, so I bought my Seiko watch from macy's instead. I later found out that many ATers had bought from them and they are NOT a scam... just gotta make sure the product description fits the image Either way they had like 200$ Seiko Kinetic watches that were going for 80$ and i really really wish I had bougth one of those, although my 100$ seiko quartz watch is very nice also

As somebody else mentioned Skagen, I have to endorse them as well. A couple of months ago I bought this Skagen watch from that company. It is titanium, waterproof, and I think it is very classy. Feels very durable as well, although not too heavy. I got the white one, cause its slightly different from the black and blues that most watches are. Although it took them a couple of weeks to ship, the company was very professional, and saved me $40 more that Watchstation wanted. Skagen is mainly known for their mesh bands, but this is a good watch in that price range. Good luck.

My parents bought me a very nice gunmetal gray titanium Tag Heuer for high school graduation, but that is most likely out of your range. I've always liked Fossils when I thumb through the ads in the Sunday paper and those that I know who have them. I think that's probably the best bang for the buck that I've seen.

EDIT: whoops, I forgot to say 'knockoff' Tag Heuer! Not like a cheap knockoff you'd find on the streets, but it just looks a lot like one. They bought it for $260 at one of those really nice jewelry stores in town (Jenkins- accidentally was hanging around the cash register when they rang it up), which has their name on the charcoal grey face. It's made by a reputable company called Bel Air, I was told by the watchmaker. I just uploaded a picture of it- this is my watch. So check out your local jewelry shop and see if you can't find something special and unique!

Seiko Kinetic are really nice watches for that price range. I have one myself and it has been serving me well.

Ive had the Skagen 32lsxm for almost a year (got it as a bday present) and I absolutely love it. Looks good, feels good, and was a good price (if I had to buy it). I have gotten at least 5 comments on it in the past year, like "wow, thats a good watch. who makes it?" and the like. I just had 2 people ask me about it last week, as a matter of fact. I was originally looking at fossil, but they seemed too sporty and not casual and sleek like this skagen. Also, it seems like every guy between 15 and 30 has a Fossil

I have a fossil and I paid like $65 for it. For people complaining about how big and heavy they are, try out a midsize fossil. Much better size IMHO and I love my watch. If it broke, I'd surely buy another fossil to replace it.

i had it narrowed down to a fossil blue titanium and a swiss army "cavalry" watch. I really wish i would have bought the swiss army one. the fossil's have the biggest piece of junk watch i've ever had. I only use the pural because i've had to get 2 new ones from them after mine have broken.

its nice that they have an 11 year warranty, but not when you have to go without a watch for 8 weeks every year.

first time it broke, the winder end cap thing fell off somehow. I never knew what happened to it. anyways, the watch got water in it from the shower and went kaput. second time i sent it back because the face was extremely scratched(fossil faces seem to scratch really easily) and a part of the clasp broke, making the "security clasp" the only thing that held the watch together. Also the date mechanism is pretty cheap.

my friend brought a couple of cheap rolex knockoffs with him from hongkong, but they turned out to be $20 wasted as the batteries in them only last about 30 minutes.

I have a Fossil Blue that I like. Only problem is, the watch face scratches really easy, and mine is all scratched to hell. Anyone know a good way to get scratches out?
