They should make a device that allows you to play 3ds games you own on a switch. I have dozens and dozens of 3ds games. I also have a switch.
Why do that when they can port them and sell them for $60.
Although I could see Nintendo making a new Switch dock that has 3DS card slot (like the Super Game Boy/GBA Player). Which if they'd made the dock be able to pass through to the TV while the Switch is undocked, it could work, where the Switch display would be the touchscreen, while the TV would be the main display.
If they didn't do that for the WiiU, where they actually had 2 screens going at the same time, I don't know why they'd do it for the Switch.
Even though one was an Xmas present, both my boys have a full size switch. Already had to service the newer of the two Switch's joy-con controllers due to the drift issue (mine had already as well :/) Otherwise for my kids age would totally jump in on the $200 size for them.
Some of the levels I have played on SMM2 are just unreal. I cannot believe how many great levels people make. Clearly some of these guys have been doing this for a while and I'm sure made tons on SMM, but this is so much better than I ever expected mario levels to be. My favorite ones are typically either speed runs or puzzle levels. I've favorited a few makers who just have some outstanding and challenging levels.
Yeah there are level IDs and maker IDs. They are like 9 digit codes like XXX-XXX-XXX. What I've been doing is when I find a maker that I enjoyed a level from, I favorite them and I can look on my favorites list at all the levels they have made.Nintendo has finally admitted that the drift in the Joy-cons is an issue. They've also stated that they might be willing to offer refunds. I'm assuming that it requires repairs to have been done through Nintendo.
Is there a way to share some sort of code or something to get access to these levels? I picked up Super Mario Maker 2 last night, and I'm not sure how it works. However, if there are some good levels, I wouldn't mind trying them out.

I never heard of this drift issue for like two years and then all of a sudden in the last month it just blew up. What the heck is it? And is this a defect in the past couple shipments or an issue that plagues all joy cons? I'm also curious if the free fix they're offering addresses the problem or just replaces worn parts for newer ones.
I see. Still, I have to wonder if Nintendo rectified the design flaw or is just swapping out worn down parts for newer ones.It might be just a time and wear issue. The left sticks on both of my launch day joycons have started to drift over the past month (originals w/ switch + an extra set). The kids got in trouble for damaging it as usually Nintendo overbuilds their stuff to the point it would survive a reentry impact. A week later all this drifting stuff popped up.

Android has been ported to the Switch:

Still a huge WIP, but it works!
I am super tempted to upgrade to the new Switch model with the double battery life for $75 net at Gamestop right now...
There are tutorials all over and it's kind of a pain in the ass, but basically you need to have both Switches present and both have to be online while the transfer happens. How does transferring your Nintendo account work?
$75 for a battery?I am super tempted to upgrade to the new Switch model with the double battery life for $75 net at Gamestop right now...
Yes. I mean if you get one of those battery packs from Amazon it's like $35 - $40, but it adds bulk. Might as well pay double that to get it built into the console.$75 for a battery?

And it supposedly has a better display.
I just realized that I'm going to be on a bus to NY on September 20th, the day Zelda comes out. I think we're leaving early in the morning too before any stores open. I'm going to have to try and find a midnight release because that would be a perfect way to spend 4 hours on a bus.
