None of those games are worth a voucher. They are all significantly cheaper than $50.

Yeah, Nintendo had this thing where you could buy vouchers at $50 and redeem them for any game (I think you had to have a Switch Online membership), so I picked up 2. I spent one on Super Mario Maker 2, but held onto the other one in case a new release caught my attention. Unfortunately, they expire after 1 year and I need to use it.

That's on my current short list. The biggest reason I haven't pulled the trigger on it is because it's also on PC and it looks a bit rough on Switch in comparison. Also heavily considering Fire Emblem Three Houses (never played a Fire Emblem game before) and the new Paper Mario.

Switch version is supposed to be the most complete version of the game though, including some extra old-school 2D levels not in any other version of the game. Even having just gotten a 1660 Super I'll probably play this one on Switch instead of PC.

Another JRPG highly worth checking out is Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I think it's the most underrated game on the system.

DQXI Switch has better music (you have to do the orchestral mod on PC).

Hope the PC version gets the extra content eventually.

If it doesn't have it by now sadly I think it never will. Sucks because I'd definitely want to play it on PC for 60 fps if it was the complete game.

I ended up going with Xenoblade Chronicles. It's a gamble, because I don't get into JRPGs as much as I used to when I was younger, but we'll see.

Man I'm thrilled to see my favorite RPG ever made get a Switch remaster, can't wait to play it on 10.29 (though English version doesn't come until Spring 2021).

Then Shin Megami Tensei V coming in 2021 finally. SMTV and Super Mario Odyssey were the two main reasons I even got a Switch, can't believe we have gone so long without any updates on SMT V. No way I'm waiting for localization on this one either.

Seriously, if you asked me what two games I wanted to see in today's Direct these would be #1 and #2, no joke. Can't wait for both of them. Especially since I have never played the Raidou Kuzunoha versions of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, only the one with Dante from Devil May Cry.

Animal Crossing probably made them all the money they need and they could just sleep through the rest of 2020 and still turn a profit.

True but it is disappointing anyway for us to not have any big titles to look forward to. I played animal crossing every day for a month. Then got to a point where I ran out of incentive to play and stopped. Since then I don’t think I’ve used my switch once.

Then when the AAA Nintendo title comes out I will purchase it and play that as well. There are so many awesome games for like $10-$30 on the eShop. Sure a lot of the are not exclusive but the fact that the switch is portable AND takes no time to load up is a reason I purchase many of those games on Switch over PS4 or X1.

Prior to The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, my Switch was by far my most played console. Since then though I haven't played it at all as I'm still working through GOT. I probably have like 40+ hours into it at this point. My son has been playing Switch a lot though and is obsessed with anything Mario right now.

Yeah I get that.

With having less time to game now a days I actually welcome some of the shorter titles too. I like how a lot of the indie games are like 6-8 hours but cost like $15 or $20.

Quite a few of the games I bought on Switch I would purchase before I went on vacation too and I'd play them on my flights to/from wherever I went, and usually I'd have some of the game left to play at home and finish them up.
