Don't cancel it just yet. I am sure after the initial launch stock runs out over the weekend, the demand will skyrocket.

Gahhh, is it March 3 yet? Today reviewers could release Prereviews of Zelda and everywhere is saying so much for that it's awesome. It sounds awesome from reading them.

I hope it does. If not well hell that is why I preordered two pro controllers.

One thing that makes me really excited is Nintendo confirmed Snipperclips is a launch day game. I know normally $20 games aren't exciting but I love the look of that game, plus it will probably be the first game I can get my wife to play with me until ARMs.

Also there will be Fast RMX and Shovel Knight with exclusive DLC at launch. I will probably wait to buy Fast RMX until Redout comes to compare the two, but maybe not if its $20 just so I can have a nice game other than Zelda to show off the console. Somehow I have never played Shovel Knight but the price is too high for me at first for what it is.

And yes, I'm glad I pre-ordered a Pro controller also. More reviewers getting extended play time with the Switch, the small 3DS size buttons and the stick not offset on the the Joycons isn't as comfortable as we are used to. Plug the Pro controllers are supposed to have crazy long battery life.

I see I'm not the only one who is getting that feeling. It seems like there is a lot of praise of the open world and very little actual talk of the things that we liked Zelda for in the past. At least right now.

I'm going to cancel my switch preorder by the end of today. I am not sure if you can transfer them on Amazon or not but if anyone is interested in it let me know and I will see if there is anything they can do about it.

I don't know. From the footage so far, looks like people are just showing off things that are new and not actual story progression. From the looks of most of it, it's all the equivalent of what Hyrule Field was in OoT. There was nothing really to do in most of it, just some enemies, and some hidden areas, as well as a kind of hub to connect the various areas. You never really spend a lot of time there once you get the teleport songs, but it's neat that they seem to have more going on within that area for this game.

I'm selling my Switch special edition of zelda. I'll make do with the Wii U version. Looking at the awful online support still in limbo and the kind of half assed effort all around by Nintendo, I just don't think they have it. I love the concept of the switch, but Nintendo just didn't learn enough from the Wii U as Sony had with the PS3.

No, not until next week when the embargo lifts for true reviews of the Switch and Zelda. Everything right now is basically impressions of the Switch and Zelda. They can't talk about story or dungeons and stuff yet that's why there isn't a lot of talk about true Zelda stuff yet.

Anyone checked out the resale value on these yet? I'm wondering if it's worth it to ebay my preorder and just change shipping address on my Amazon order.

Anyone have experience having Amazon directly ship something you sold the preorder of on Ebay?

Yes, I did this with PC version of FO4 Collector's Edition in 2015. I just updated the shipping address to the guy's location and had no problems. I made it very clear in the eBay posting that it was an Amazon pre-order and I would update the address. He paid me and he got the Amazon shipment, easy profit at the time.

I can't believe it but I'm swinging more towards keeping my preorder at this point, and as much trash I've talked about playing it in portable mode and will be the biggest hypocrite, I am flying to Aruba on Monday for a week and it would be pretty neat to be able to play it on the airplane and a good way to kill time outside of watching Netflix.

I ordered a dozen different accessories but no case. A nice screen protector and I'll just wrap it up extra careful in a towel if I need to transport it in a bag or something.

I preordered this one after spending literally hours looking at Switch cases:

I picked that one because:

1. It's a hard case at a soft case price.

2. It doesn't look like a child's case like most of them.

3. It is molded to the Joycons, unlike most Switch hard cases and the official Hori case.

4. It is not too big.

5. Yet still has space for games and some extra stuff.

I get it March 3 so I will report back.

^^ Cool thanks. I'm not a big fan of that one really. I was looking at the Hori one actually and so far am leaning that way. What do you mean by molded to the Joycons? Just so it will be like "flush" in the case? I didn't think about that with the joycons attached.

On another note, I just got onto amazon chat to ask them wtf is up with the Zelda release date and this is what they told me after saying they had no more information.

And what the fuck? I just read the Switch does not support bluetooth? I can't use wireless bluetooth headphones with the fucking switch and must plug in a wire?
