Honestly part of the reason I will buy Fast RMX tomorrow is it will be the first decent game to support HD Rumble. I am also really excited about Has-Been-Heroes's approach of feeling magic build up, seems like it would be great for JRPGs.

Fast RMX looks cool but since I've never played the WiiU version, I'm gonna have to wait for reviews on it. Looks like F-Zero/Wipeout which is cool.

My gamestop which has my preorder switch has extra pro controllers so was able to snag one. Going to go over there in a bit to finish paying for everything and will probably pick up tomorrow morning as I really don't wanna stay up till midnight.

Fast RMX is $20 and only available through the shop right?

I might also pick up disgaea 5 complete from the JP eshop.

Looking at Nintendo stock, it has held steady these past few years.

Time to short it? The Switch looks like it will be a massive flop, even worse than the Wii U.

Just got my controller and Zelda. Form factor of the boxes for the games is weird lol. And damn the controller feels very nice in the hands. It's nearly identical to Xbox One controllers as far as how it feels in your hands. Buttons and dpad are better though.

And either my controller is defective or there is no light on it to indicate that it's charging.

Ok first impressions after midnight pickup:

The Switch is a sweeeeeet portable console. The screen looks great, the size feels nice, and it fits in a decent amount of my pockets. The actual tablet part that is the console feels solid.

The power cable looks substantial (so was the one that came with the Pro Controller too). The dock is plastic but tough. I dropped it on a hard floor pulling it out and no damage.

Fast RMX does use HD Rumble which is interesting to feel. Minor hits give lessor rumbles. Snipperclips looks great and seems like an amazing game for $20. I would pay $40 easy. And Zelda, well the rest of the Internet has talked about Zelda.

Final thing- the dark theme rocks.

So even the pro controller uses usb-c which is nice as a single cable can charge everything. Also my nexus 6p and my wife's pixel charger seems to be charging the unit just fine. That will be awesome when traveling as I only have to carry a single usb-c charger for everything.

Mine does have a charging light on the top.

LOL that's not good for me then. Granted I never plugged it into a console yet, but I plugged it into my USB wall charger and I didn't see any light on the controller at all, unless it is behind the sticker at the top.

After all I went through to find a pro controller, I'd have to LOL a bit if I ended up with a dud of a controller.

Better off it they didn't waste money on gimmicks that no one wants anyway. They seem to be banking on the success of the Wii's motion controls from 10 years ago. In those 10 years, people have figured out they don't want motion controls forced on them in every game.

Everyone hated the forced use of the Sixasis in games like Uncharted and the game Lair completely bombed partly because of the forced Sixasis controls.

Playstation move and Xbox Kinect were horrible failures.

I've heard that Breath of the Wild forces the use of some of the Switch's gimmicks and those parts of the game are horrible.

If the Switch was made by Sony or Microsoft, then they would see what a bomb 1,2 Switch is, and how few people like gimmicky controls, and they would steer away forcing them in future games. Nintendo will just double down on it.

It's a Zelda game, anything less than 9.5 would have a mob at the editor's door with pitchforks. Personally I can't stand the over cranked contrast cell shaded graphics.

I'm not a fan of cel shading in games either. Still I would like to play this game. Might be the first Zelda game I miss out on. Maybe in a few years I'll get a switch and play it when there is a couple other titles worth buying too.

I find it funny that there are only 2 copies of Just Dance left in the game case but a stack of Zelda. Probably just got a ton of Zelda's though, and I expect that 1 2 Switch stack to stay that way.

Yea I read that there's a demo of it. That's actually a game that looks very fun to play with someone. My girl loves puzzle games so I'm going to purchase that one today after a little bit of Zelda time.

Snipperclips is fantastic. The production values and aesthetic look just like a first party Nintendo game. It is what should have been in the reveal presentation instead of 1 2 Switch. I am having a blast just playing it single player.

Also Fast RMX has online multiplayer! I played a few rounds (got my ass kicked) and it worked great. Where the HD Rumble really kicks ass in that game is feeling when you get hit on one side of the vehicle vs the other.

The both blue looks really good, I don't like that they came with one of each color. When I order some more Joycons they will definitely be blue.

Also did anyone get Bomberman? I'm somewhat curious to see if the single player is any fun. I'm assuming multiplayer will be fun as usual.

Reading quick reviews it seems like it's basically a $50 multiplayer game - pass.
