Wow the N64 emulation looks kind of crap for $50
Anyone interested in a non-banned modded launch Switch? I modded it this past weekend. I'm including a 128gb SD card as well as the jig that is needed every time you want to boot up the CWF if you completely power it off. But if it's always in standby you won't need to do it. There is a small scratch on the screen but it's outside of the actual display. I also have the box and stuff so it would be shipped with that. The joycons have also been sent to Nintendo for drift issues that they fixed.
I'm going to put it up for sale on FB marketplace like next week some time but figured I'd ask here first if anyone is interested in it.
Shoot me a PM if interested.
I installed emunand and only went online when in sysnand mode. I was in airplane mode every time I was in the emunand mode too.Curious, did you setup an emunand and only go online when booted into the sysnand? Because if not and if you installed any game you don't own without being booted into an emunand that system will get banned sometime in the future, so I wouldn't advertise as unbanned. I'd only advertise unbanned either if it had never been hacked or if you have gone the emunand route.

I also didn't install any games on it that I don't own. The only thing played on it after it was modded was a legit copy of Splatoon 2. We tested out some mods for Splatoon 2 but it was just cosmetic stuff and as mentioned, offline in airplane mode when doing so.
Anyways, it's already been claimed by someone on here so it's no longer available.
You've been playing with joycons? Wow, that sounds hard. It was hard enough on a Pro controller, heh.portable doesn't seem to have the best ergonomics.
You must have a REALLY short attention span if those cut scenes were boring to you.I got bored with all the cutscenes to begin Metroid Dread, and then all the cutscenes every five minutes of gameplay. Completely took away all my enthusiasm for playing it. I assume it gets a lot better once you're out of tutorial intro stage, right? Reminded me of the beginning of Okami.

Yes games have changed since the 8bit era.Guess I have always thought of Metroid as a pick up and play game where all I cared about was the action and gameplay, and story didn't matter. Loved the NES and Game Boy games but haven't played one since so maybe they changed?
That is just part of the whole "metroidvania" aspect of the game design. There are parts of the game you aren't supposed to access/explore until you have progressed to a certain point in the game. That's all that is chalked up to IMO.Of all my complaints with Dread, the cutscenes aren't one of them. Mostly the EMMI's just push you around the map and I don't feel like I get time to explore. Even if they aren't linear in design, it always feels like I'm on rails following a set path.
