Almost a coin flip between Raging Bull and Goodfellas, two classics. Casino was good, but nowhere near the same league.

I really like Casino. For whatever reason, I'm not a person who watches movies time and again, but I will watch this whenever it is on or wherever it is in the movie. I love both this and Goodfellas for their use of music to place the scenes. Scorcese does this so well.

Never saw Raging Bull, so I cant comment on it.

Edit: my two favorite parts are Nicky and his brother getting their just desserts and when Ginger goes bye bye.

I like casino the best cuz by that time Scorsese and Deniro and Pesci all had their routine down pat.

But if you had already seen the first two movies then it would seem like just a copy.
Of course, they did everything better so its an extremely good copy.

I like Goodfellas the most of the OP's choices but another fave of mine is Once Upon A Time In America, which had both De Niro and Pesci long before Goodfellas or Casino.

I thought Casino was the most enjoyable of the three.

As to "Once Upon A Time In America" mentioned above, the only thing I remember was the nude scene by one of the most beautiful actress of our time: in this case a very underage Jennifer Connelly in her very 1st film role. Of course, it was a very long time ago when I saw it.

Goodfellas by a country mile. Couldn't get into Raging Bull. First half of Casino is awesome, took a bit of a dive in the second 1/2 (it was almost like a new director took over), but still good.

I have been told, by people that know these things, that Raging Bull is the best movie ever made. I watched it a few years ago and thought is was pretty boring.

Casino is good but just seems like another telling of Goodfellas, just set in Vegas.

raging bull is one of the best movies ever made. It defined the genre that casino and goodfellas exist in.


Now of the three goodfellas is my favorite but raging bull is the most significant. Casino is a flawed masterpiece.

I've tried to watch Raging Bull but it gives me a headache ten minutes in (less?) with the domestic situation. Both of my brothers love it but I wonder if I'll ever bring myself to watch it in full.

I've seen Goodfellas but I'm not enthusiastic about watching it again.

Casino was a re-hash of previous bits of Scorsese's work, IMO. I'm not a big fan of his work TBH, though Shutter Island was pretty damn good.
