I picked those up for both of my cars about a month ago. Great wipers for the price. You'll usually pay double that for comparable wipers in automotive stores.

I have a set (Tri..something, bought at Schucks), been using it for 5 yrs and still doing good. Is it odd for a set of windshield wiper to last this long?

Edit: I live in Seattle and sure it rains a lot. Had a lot of birdpoops now and between. My wipers just seem to last forever.

I live in Michigan, and I have to change my wipers every year at least, or else driving in the winter becomes impossible. Perhaps in Seattle you don't salt the roads so much, so that your wipers last longer? But ya, 5 years is a long time for wipers.

Yeah, it's a combination of salting the roads and high heat that destroy wiper blades. That's why it always cracks me up when people go buy wiper blades during the summer for their car. Just wait until it starts raining in the fall, then buy them, that way you don't have them start cracking from the heat!

We bought the Meijer brand of these 3 years ago in Michigan and still going strong. They last a lot longer than regular wipers.

I live up in Bellingham. For some reason I usually have to change out my blades once a year. Could be because I do a lot of camping up in the sticks. Maybe I'll check out Costco for those Goodyear blades. Sure beats spending $20 or so

It also rains in the summer in many places.

These are really great wipers. Much longer lasting than the more expensive Bosch, which are very good when new but loose their quality quickly.

What kills a lot of wipers is the first hot day the edge melts/sticks to the windshield and the next time its moved a bit of the edge is torn away so it isn't smooth anymore. I've heard that some parts of the world its common to keep the wipers inside the car and only put them on when it rains.

I can definitey give a thumbs-up to this deal as well. I bought a pair for my VW to replace the hideously overpriced Bosch ICON blades. These may not be as good but they're very close and a fraction of the cost. I also bought a spare set for myself as well as some for my parents & the wife's car. Good stuff all around.

I am pleased to report that whether your car utilizes the posts like my VW does or the various types of clip-on brackets, these Goodywars include the proper hardware & instructions in the package so installation is a snap.

I've only had 'em for a month or two so it's hard to tell how the longevity is compared to the Bosch but I'm just pleased to see these available at Costo.

SUV/station wagon/hatchback owners take note, the shortest size Costco stocks for these is 18" or 17" or so, so if you need something like a 15" rear wiper blade then you are outta luck.

I went to my costco for blades for my Scion tC.... go figure, I need a 16" and a 26". They didn't have either. Don't think they even stocked those sizes as there were no boxes that were totally empty.

These wipers are a bunch of junk. In less than 2 months the ends have come off and then the rubber blade can come out and will on high speed or the rest of the top on that end will come off and you have a floppy piece of rubber. Might be "cheap" at Costco but are more expensive when you don't have good wipers.

I have a set and they work fine. They are made in some place called "USA" instead of the usual places.

I use these wipers too. Last set of them even made it through the winter and are just now giving up on me (I live near St. Louis, Midwest weather is totally ridiculous lol).

I think I paid $13 a piece for mine. This is a great deal.

I'm also the most impatient person in the world, so I'm prone to yanking my blades off the windshield when they get frozen to the car in the winter

picked up a pair today here in Cali. good deal! thanks.

Also got a pair (yesterday) in CA. Right now with the current coupon book you get two for $7.99. The coupon is good until tomorrow, Sunday Oct. 10, 2010.

Yesterday at Costco I too picked up a pair of these Goodyear Assurance blades for $7.99. Fantastic deal, considering a single blade in the same size on Amazon is around $20. But heed the Muse's warning: the coupon expires tomorrow (Sunday).

Note: If you don't have the coupon book, all you need to get the coupon deal is to present the cashier with one of the book's coupons. Yesterday I didn't have all the coupons I needed but someone alerted me to the fact I only needed one. The customer service kiosk folks said they had been out of the coupon books for over a week, but if you can find someone in the store who will give you any single coupon or find a book in the store, you're golden.

Yes indeed, any coupon will work. Just check out the bar code on the backs of all the coupons in the Costco book: they're all the same!

And they're the same from book to book? IOW, they don't know who they were addressed to? Curious.

Edit: Looks like they are the same. I have a coupon I got from a customer yesterday and one they sent to me and they're the same.
