Play Music All Access looks nice. Nice combination of something like Spotify and Pandora.

Still going to be waiting to see Apple's service.

WHOA I can't believe it's real. This is great, developer support for the GS4 has just hit the highest possible level.

No applause for the price announcement, haha.

Though if it were any cheaper than a regular SGS4, Samsung wouldn't be happy about it.

Yeah there's no way this thing would be priced at the Nexus 4 level. Even at $650 though I am really tempted to get one.

Major props to Samsung for agreeing to do this though. They had no reason at all to do it, but they did.

Yeah, I'm not sure a SGS4 is really worth double a Nexus 4. I suppose if you HAVE to have the removable battery or mSD card slot, it's a great choice.

If I had a GNex, I'd be tempted. If I had a N4, I'd wait until a new Nexus device this fall.

The best part about this is that all the sensors and the IR LED in the Galaxy S4 will be supported by AOSP soon. This was my number one concern and it's now relieved.

The Galaxy S4 will be THE best phone for a long time now. With Google updates combined with Samsung popularity, development will simply be greater than anything before it.

y no htc 1st aosp lol.

Seriously now, expecting a different price tag for the AOSP S4 was unrealistic but I bet the ROM is compatible.

Dang, June 26th? That's almost three months after the S4 came out, and will probably be halfway to the S5 by then.

Does this mean the regular S4 could potentially be flashed to this Nexus model, and then start picking up the Google updates on the fly? I could at least get a regular S4 subbed from my carrier.

That's the key thing here. S4 owners can choose. I'm positive it goes both ways, meaning if you wanted to you could flash TW onto the units that will sell in G store.

I do wonder this. This should be less of an issue than the Nexus 4 vs Optimus G, but even then I thought the Optimus G would get excellent development support based off the Nexus. It never happened though.

With all the Samsung bloat taken out, I'm really interested to know what the battery life on this "Nexus GS4" will be like.

Well now I've got a predicament I suppose. I've been sitting on a hardware upgrade for a while, putting along with my GNex still. I'm almost tempted to just go get the S4 today and pray I can flash it by July.

Yeah. I'm going to wait I think. Either way I'm paying full price for a handset. The question is whether we get removable battery and mSD on this GS4 Nexus or not. If so I'm pretty much sold on it.

I feel as stupid as the dumb Apple fans who salivate over phones. TBH it happens to us too. Dumping our 6 month old N4s for a $650 handset? Heh.

In the same boat...

Woah, all this Chrome stuff looks promising.

Okay that racecar track across multiple screens/devices was really cool, even if I never see/use it in person.

Haha, yep. :$
Although I can't think of a better way to get LTE on a stock Google experience, which is all I want.
