Damn I would love a free Pixel!
This is being touted as a SGS4 running Google pure. They haven't given any indication yet that they'll be removing the mSD slot.Yeah. I'm going to wait I think. Either way I'm paying full price for a handset. The question is whether we get removable battery and mSD on this GS4 Nexus or not. If so I'm pretty much sold on it.
I don't know why people would have thought this was an Apple fan specific thing. Every year, when I was using Windows Mobile devices, I'd look at new hardware and be like 'oooh, I've got to have that!'. Everyone does it.I feel as stupid as the dumb Apple fans who salivate over phones. TBH it happens to us too. Dumping our 6 month old N4s for a $650 handset? Heh.

I guess the benefit to the Apple cycle is that you at least know you're going to be waiting a year before you have to start worrying about it.
I'm going to hope this begins a new trend. Where not only Samsung, but HTC, Motorola, LG and Sony all offer a stock experience for those that care.
For subsidy markets the actual device in G store is not the big news, it's the choice of Samsung or Google ROM. Very nice move by Samsung.
As a N4, budget conscious owner, a $650 S4 doesn't appeal to me, especially with the N5 less than 6 months away but it's a nice option for TW haters.
The best part about this is that all the sensors and the IR LED in the Galaxy S4 will be supported by AOSP soon. This was my number one concern and it's now relieved.
The issue is what do you think will change in the N5? Maybe they give you quad A15s. Great. Is it going to sway me? I don't know. Is the S600 that bad?
Do you think Google will churn out a better camera solution than the S4? Unlikely. The S4 reigns supreme this time around. For those who like hardware buttons, you get it with the S4. LTE is addressed here. Maybe a better screen? Battery life improvements?
The S4 with stock Android is real?
