Wow, this sounds amazing, I hope it's real. Android and Me is reporting that Google will unveil a Pixel branded tablet, oddly running Android M (not Chrome OS as Pixels usually run).
It will look like a Pixel without the attached keyboard (so I guess aluminum and squarish looking). There will be keyboard accessories. Nvidia X1 SoC with Maxwell GPU, 3GB of RAM.
I'm very excited. I kinda blame Google for the Android tablet race to the bottom when they announced the $200 Nexus 7. Everyone after that went super cheap to compete. And now I'm hoping Google is coming out with a high end tablet (Nexus 9 isn't that) that will hopefully get it's partners interesting in making high end tablets again (nobody is now, Tab S2 is running last years SoC).
UPDATE: Pixel C announced.
10.2 inch 2560x1800 (308 ppi) 500 nits display
Nvidia Tegra X1 SoC
3GB RAM
8MP/2MP cameras
USB C
Aluminum build
7mm thick, about 1 pound weight
32GB for $499
64GB for $599
keyboard $149
