NYC isn't either. My guess is that the huge airports would be harder to provide wi-fi for.

A lot of airports already have Wi-Fi. It probably depends on how Google is doing the service - they might just be paying an existing provider for people to have access on their network.

No Dallas, Chicago, Denver, or Atlanta. Basically none of the hub airports. I don't think any of them offer free Wi-Fi right now, so that's a shame.

Philly already has wifi, or at least it did last time I was there (in September). I could have sworn FLL already did, too, but I'll be there this holiday season so I guess I can use either way.

I fly to/from Pittsburgh to Lafayette, louisiana via memphis, atlanta or houston and its nice to have free wifi. At these places, google is paying the Wifi provider there.. the name escapes me at the moment. When i travel through airports that don't have free wifi, i just hook my phone to my laptop and surf the web through it.

I've never been able to get it for free over the past 2.5 years.

Pitt had free wifi as of last year (or maybe it was two years ago?), but when I stopped by for Thanksgiving I couldn't access the internet on my netbook. Not sure why.
