I was going to order a new cpu for one of my systems........this was going to be my first time ordering from googlegear........so I decided to check out its rating at resellerratings.com............First I noticed that they have a low rating of 6.68............I then read threw some of the post and stumbled on to this:

In the past, I have purchased a number of computer components from this company (motherboards, cpu, etc) and was very happy with the price, selection and promptness in shipping out the orders.
In February, however, I placed an order for a P4 processor and it arrived with damaged pins. I filled out the online RMA request and sent the processor back. Several weeks later, a package arrives from them which I thought was a replacement processor. Instead, it was the damaged processor with a note stating that they did not accept physically damaged goods for refund/exchange. The note further stated that the damaged pins on the processor was obviously the result of improper insertion/extraction from the ZIF socket. Very interesting since I never had a chance to insert the processor in the ZIF socket because of the damage to the pins I discovered upon opening the package.
I called their customer service to explain the situation, and he assured me that 100% of the items they shipped out were in perfect condition. Therefore, if something is damaged it must be my fault. I asked to speak to his manager, at which point he managed to conveniently disconnect me.
At this point, I asked my credit card company to pursue the matter. They wrote a letter of complaint to Googlegear, but they basically ignored that also.
Today, I am holding in my hand a brand new P4 (with straight pins!) , but thanks only to the classy customer care at Intel.
Bottom line: I will never do business with Googlegear again. Unless you are absolutely certain that the item you order will arrive in pristine condition with no problems, do NOT do business with this bunch. Their customer service is hellbent on ripping you off!
____________
I guess ill be ordering from somewhere else........is TCW good? They have a 8.64 rating.
