Done is archive, and I completely get why they changed the name in Inbox. I would never archive things in Gmail, it was either mark as read or delete. I think for the everyday user, "Done" makes more sense than "archive" especially with how Inbox is being presented as more of a to-do list and general notifier than just email.
I just started using it. How the heck do you delete now?

You can also go in the "Done" folder and checkmark all the ones you want to remove too.

Yes they need to add an option to let the user choose done as either archive or delete like with regular Gmail.

Use the Feedback tool to let em know.

I want to like the inbox app but I found that it's draining my battery like crazy. Anybody else is like this? It's way more battery usage percentage than GMail, although they're syncing the exact same accounts.

Not really but you might want to give the Greenify app a try. Works on non-root devices now too.

I hate it. The bundling is inconsistent at best and I'm sick of not getting notifications when it bundles improperly. Meh.

I don't think Greenify will help much here. The system controls sync events. Where Greenify excels is preventing an app from waking itself up, but when the Android system controls sync itself, Inbox will sync and sync.

The problem is the sync system. Google needs to move to an option of push notifications only for those who want to save battery.

We've had those a while just had to do it verbally.

It's really easy to "sleep" an email and tell it to notify you when you get to a location.
Its really handy for work emails that you get out of hours asking you to do something when you get to work..

I know that you could set up location based reminders before but this is really streamlined for email.

You do realize you have control over the bundling right? As you move things in and out of the bundles it will adjust to how you want it. And you can create your own.

I'm aware, it just doesn't seem to adjust as I'd like it to. I guess where I'm at is that I'd rather have GMail filters that I have full control over and understanding of rather than a black box of bundles.

I think it is more intended for people who want to spend less time /w emails. I find it extremely helpful as I get stuff like financial things, but I honestly don't want to review it as they come in. So my financial bundle is setup for daily bundling and I just mass check it at the end of my day if there is nothing important I see.

I also like the pin option to keep track of things I need and the snooze. It is nice to snooze a email until so I get near a location I need it etc...

Is it perfect? Na, but it is useful and making the time I spend going through emails a lot less painful.
