So I called him a moron? Did I call him anything?

Or are you referring to the fact that I asked you how old you were since you act very young? I'm not calling you names, I'm just stating that I prefer not to argue with teenagers on internet forums.

If you want people to take your views seriously, you should reduce the number of childish emoticons that you use. Your replies seem very typical of a young, inexperienced person. Too much emotion, not enough logic.

You obviously don't know much about the subject at hand, since you called her a "really skilled" driver. She's the second youngest driver on the course, and she's very inexperienced as far as this kind of racing goes. She's not exactly Shirley Muldowney. The only thing that she currently has is her sex appeal. She's more of a Anna Kournikova than a Martina Navritilova.
i gotta agree with JulesMaximus

You see, this is exactly what I'm talking about. When I have to deal with a 17 year old, I have to deal with a 17 year old's emotions, reasoning ability, reactions, etc. I don't have the time or patience to bring them up to an adults's level. I'm not calling you stupid- you act your age, like any normal kid is supposed to. But being more than 10 years older, I just don't want to deal with that.

Wow, looks like I didn't miss much while I was away mowing my lawn and taking care of some of my "chores" around the house. BTW-Thanks to appopin for defending me in my absence.

As for you 91ttz...go pop a zit or whatever it is that you do when you're not acting like a child on ATOT.
Your welcome!

as to "missing much" - not really . . . . i guess 91TTZ is probably still riding the Short Bus to school and pretending to be something he is not.

i managed to "debate" him (no challenge, nor "fun" as it is undoubtedly like beating up a handicapped person) while painting my house's covered patio [when i had to move the ladder, then come in an post, back to painting, etc.).

Yeah, I was in Rancho Mirage vacationing with my wife and son this weekend. That's where I was on Sunday while I watched the race. I did watch most of it there while my wife lay out by the pool with my son. I must admit, I was incensed when I read of Gordon's comments yesterday afternoon. While he may have a point he is probably the least qualified to make a statement like that and a change in the rules probably would do nothing to help him win the Indy 500 anyway. It would at the very least give him one less excuse...

The only thing worse than a 16 year old kid on the internet is a 35 year old guy on the internet who acts like a 16 year old kid. When you're not getting slapped around by your boyfriend/wife, you're pretending you're some big shot on the internet.

I only wish I could play football with you guys, I have a feeling your attitude towards me would change very quickly. (that's if you do that sort of thing. Probably too much of a limpwrist though)

This mirror appears to be broken. Do you have one that you haven't used yet?

This is all moot though cause the REAL athlete (the horses) don't have a weight requirement and can weigh in at whatever they want to.

So an analogy would be cars:horses, jockeys:riders
So... your post really had no point whatsoever?

This conversation is over. I'll let you two fairies frolic in your thread.

What I have learned from this thread;

Nobody likes Robby Gordon
People like Danicka Patrick because she's hot not because of her driving skills
Most do not like nascar
Most do not like irl
People like to argue over anything
People use the quote feature way too much

Otherwise I think the weight issue is a valid concern and it should be addressed. IRL knows that she has an advantage but will not do anything about it because she is bringing in the ratings. The Indy had a 40% increase in viewership this year.

Any person that weighs around 200 lbs shouldn't be a racecar driver.

Besides, it's about time that Gordan goes on a diet, that fat bastard.

He should anyway. Fvcking nascar, who cares.
It's not NASCAR. I agree NASCAR is the most boring "sport" ever conceived, but get your facts straight before yelling about it.

If they equalized the weight for lighter drivers, wouldn't that put them at a disadvantage? I mean they are lighter, but they lose something for being light, mainly strength. Unless they are going to force every driver to up their muscle mass until they reach 200 lbs. I suppose this assumes driving at high speeds requires control that benefits from muscles.

It does make a difference, but maybe the guy should try Trimspa or something because the only way to even it up is by losing weight.

both for me.. otherwise she's a very common girl if she weren't a good driver in a man's world.

It's like a girl being hotter/more desirable if she's a gamer or knows things chicks usually don't get into... like cars or other techie stuff.

THIS IS HER PICTURE!@!!!!!!!!!
now that i got your attention:

in rowing, if your coxsin weighs less than a designated weight, he is required to carry weights to make up for it.

of course this isnt rowing. it's up to the organizers of the racing community to decide if its a standard they want to enforce.
